Tracy Benson, Founder of Lighten Up Nutrition

Tracy Jean Benson is a Nutrition Counselor with thirty years experience in the field of Weight Management and Nutrition Education. In 1982, Tracy began working as a group facilitator with Weight Watchers in Michigan. In 1984 she transferred to Weight Watchers of Philadelphia where she served as a Group Facilitator, Trainer, and Regional Manager.

Helping others reach their goals has been my passion for over 30 years. My personal struggle with weight and body image and a 50-pound weight loss have helped me to truly understand many of the struggles that others are facing. I believe, and studies have shown that personalized help from someone whos been there can greatly increase your chances of success.

Tracy has helped hundreds of individuals reach and maintain their personal nutrition and weight loss goals.In addition to her private practice, Tracy conducts corporate and community wellness programs throughout the region. 

Some corporate and community organizations Tracy has advised include the PA Department of Health, Carpenter Technology, RACC, The Caron Foundation, National Penn Bank, St. Joseph's Hospital, Agere Systems, Inc., Peppridge Farms, Inc., and Penn National Gaming Inc.
